Will we receive an exhibit tour upon our visit?

We do not give formal tours. We have trained staff that will greet you and give your group an orientation. The exhibits are self-guided. If you would like a more in-depth experience within our exhibits, please download our scavenger hunts. Each is Georgia Performance Standard aligned.

Do you have a place for us to eat lunch?

Yes! Riverfront Park and Turtle Grove Park are Dougherty County parks that are available for your groups.

Does the Flint RiverQuarium sell food for lunch?

We do not offer lunch for school groups, but Chick-fil-A will deliver food for your group. We sell snack items such as popcorn, candy and soda.

What can I do to prepare my students for the trip?

You can download an introduction to the Flint RiverQuarium to help educate your students on what to expect within our exhibits. We also offer pre- and post-visit activity packets that support the Lab experience.

Are restrooms and water fountains available at your facility?

Yes! We have one large set of restrooms in the main Flint RiverQuarium building and one large set in the Adventure Center.

What if it rains the day of our field trip visit?

No problem. Most of our exhibits, programs and activities take place inside.

Is it necessary to make a reservation for my school group?

You must make an advanced reservation for school groups due to seating limits and space constraints in the Flint RiverQuarium exhibits, Imagination Theater and Labs.
