Would you like to earn FREE PLU’s?  In July 2008, 2 teacher workshops will be offered at the Flint RiverQuarium.

Attention all Kindergarten - 5th grade science teachers: Attend one 2-day workshop and receive 1 PLU.

3rd - 5th grade teacher workshop - July 17th and 18th. K - 2nd grade teacher workshop - July 24th and 25th.

Teachers will learn content behind the Georgia Performance Standards SKL1, SKL2, S1L1, S2L1, S3L1, S4L2 and S5L1 focusing on the animals that inhabit the Flint RiverQuarium and much of Georgia. Create and deliver lesson plans with fish, frogs and turtles in mind. Come learn how to incorporate these "Creatures of the Flint" as well as an Imagination Theater movie screening into your own lesson plans utilizing the provided activities.
