 Flint RiverQuarium in June.
 The water steps were turned on for the first time in June.

 These workers placed limestone blocks around the inside of the Blue Hole Spring. These blocks weigh over 500 pounds apiece and must be lifted in one by one with a crane!

 Some of the trees inside the Blue Hole Spring and throughout the other exhibits were fabricated by very skilled craftsman. The tree and stump you see here are at Cypress Creek, where the Gators lurk!
 As you can see from these pictures, getting the real trees in was quite a task! They were lifted from outside with a crane and then placed inside the Blue Hole Spring onto steel rods to keep them from falling. These cypress trees were donated by a local plantation and represent the "dead fall" usually found around natural spings. There will also be live trees planted as the work continue.

 The Florida Reef tank is in the "World of Water" area of the RiverQuarium.
Adventure Center
 This section of the Adventure Center will house the IWERKS Theater and lobby. The Adventure Center will eventually reach all the way to Pine Avenue. The second half will hold the 3,000 square foot changing exhibit hall. The classroom, wetlab and staff offices will be upstairs.
